What is Interlock metal siding?
Interlock metal siding is aluminum wall cladding formed from the same architectural panels used in Interlock roofing. The panels interlock on all four sides and can be used to create a coordinated roof-and-wall exterior system.

Is Interlock siding the same material as the roof?
It uses the same aluminum panel system, coating, colors and matching trims in Slate, Cedar Shingle, Shake and Standing Seam profiles.
Can it be used only on accents?
Depending on the home, aluminum wall cladding may be considered for accent areas such as gables, dormers and chimneys or for larger exterior wall areas.
Does it need repainting?
Interlock states that its factory-baked Alunar® coating does not require repainting. Periodic cleaning and inspection recommendations depend on the installation and environment.
