Your Interlock roofing project includes separate material and workmanship protections. Here is what each warranty covers and who stands behind it.
Material protection
Interlock Guardian Warranty
The Guardian warranty is issued by Interlock and covers qualifying Interlock roofing materials according to the manufacturer’s written terms, conditions, exclusions and transfer requirements.
Installation protection
Metal Roof NC 5-Year Labor Warranty
Metal Roof NC provides a five-year workmanship warranty covering our installation labor, subject to the written terms provided with your roofing agreement. This is separate from Interlock’s material warranty.

Why there are two warranties
The manufacturer stands behind the roofing material. Metal Roof NC stands behind the installation work we perform. Keeping those responsibilities clear helps homeowners know exactly whom to contact and which written warranty applies.
Keep your documents
- Your signed Metal Roof NC roofing agreement
- Your Interlock Guardian warranty document and registration information
- Project invoices, approved change orders and completion records
- Any required transfer documentation if the property is sold
